AKITO — Returns & Refund Policy
We accept returns only in the following cases:
- Verified manufacturing defects discovered within 7 days of delivery.
- Wrong item shipped (confirmed via serial/NFC match).
- Items damaged in transit (evidence required: photos + packaging).
All returns are subject to inspection by our atelier. Wear-and-tear, accidental damage, or unauthorized modifications are not eligible.
When a return is approved we will offer, at our discretion:
- Replacement with equivalent condition/timepiece;
- Repair by our certified atelier; or
- Full refund to the original payment method (minus return shipping if the reason is not a AKITO error).
Refunds are processed after inspection and typically reach your account within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Contact support@akitowatches.com within 7 days with order details, photos, and NFC/serial references.
- Our team issues a return authorization with instructions (do not ship without authorization).
- Ship the item in original packaging with the NFC card and all accessories; insured shipping is required for returns.
- After receipt and inspection, we confirm next steps: repair, replacement, or refund.
Orders may be cancelled only before they are dispatched. If dispatch has begun, normal return policy applies. To request cancellation, email support@akitowatches.com immediately with your order number.
Faults covered under our one-year warranty (movement/manufacturing) will be handled through repair or replacement. Warranty claims must be validated via NFC verification and inspection by our atelier. Shipping for warranty repairs may be covered depending on location and case.
The policy does not cover:
- Normal wear, scratches, or strap aging.
- Damage from misuse, water beyond rated depth, or unauthorized repairs.
- Loss or theft — these should be reported to local authorities; AKITO may assist with provenance documentation.
All returns must be shipped with a tracked and insured service. AKITO recommends using the carrier specified in your return authorization to ensure smooth processing. We cannot accept responsibility for uninsured or untracked shipments.
- Return request window: 7 days from delivery for defects/incorrect item.
- Inspection & decision: typically 3–7 business days after receipt.
- Refund issuance: within 5–10 business days after approval (bank-dependent).
Items listed on AKITO Exchange must be fully authenticated via NFC and match the Unique ID registry. For resale, AKITO may require photos, recent service history, and a condition report. Listings below the launch price will be flagged; recommended listing price is equal to or above original launch price to preserve provenance and value.
